Installation

PicoBuild is a portable desktop app for Windows and macOS — there's no installer to run.

On Windows, download the portable .exe from the Download page and run it directly; nothing is installed system-wide, so you can run it from any folder (including a USB drive).

On macOS, download the .zip, expand it, and drag PicoBuild.app to Applications (or run it from anywhere).

System requirements: 64-bit Windows 10/11 or macOS 12+, 4 GB RAM, ~400 MB disk space.

On first run, Windows SmartScreen or macOS Gatekeeper may warn about an unrecognized app because builds aren't code-signed yet — see "Security & the download warning" in Devflow's docs for why this is expected for unsigned builds generally.

After launch, PicoBuild starts in Free mode. Use it immediately, or sign in with your Devtune account to activate a trial or Pro license.
